Free Access Extended to 17 Francophone African Countries

CANAL+ and Nomad Education launched a partnership on 2 October 2026, offering free access to NOMAD+, their premium revision platform, to CANAL+ subscribers in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa. This campaign covers 17 countries, including Senegal, Cameroon, Mali, Niger, and Côte d’Ivoire. Access is valid until 31 October 2026, a one-month period, and includes content tailored to primary school pupils, junior high, high school, and university students. Users can download lessons, quizzes, and past papers via the Nomad Education app to access them offline, reducing reliance on constant internet connectivity.

A Comprehensive and Accessible Educational Offer

NOMAD+ provides lessons, quizzes, past papers, and personalized learning paths, developed by 400 teachers from the national education system. According to Nomad Education, the platform already supports over 10 million young people, with more than 4 million in Africa. This initiative aligns with efforts to improve access to educational resources, particularly in contexts where internet connectivity may be limited.

CANAL+ has announced a communication campaign to promote this offer, broadcast on television, in its stores, and across its social media channels, ensuring subscribers are aware of the opportunity.

A Solidarity Project in Benin

In addition to this offer, CANAL+ and Nomad Education are implementing a Benin-specific solidarity project in collaboration with SOS Benin. This project includes the renovation of a media library, where students will use tablets with Nomad Education subscriptions. While details on the library’s location, renovation timeline, or the number of tablets remain unspecified, the initiative aims to enhance revision conditions for Beninese students.

The campaign concludes on 31 October 2026, marking the end of the free access period to NOMAD+ for CANAL+ subscribers in Francophone Africa.
