The Union of NGOs of Togo (UONGTO), a non-partisan federation created in 1993 with 94 member NGOs, validated from 17 to 19 September 2026, at the Flamboyant hotel in Atakpamé, its three strategic documents for 2026-2030: the strategic plan, the monitoring-evaluation plan and the resource mobilisation plan. The workshop, the federation's fourth round of strategic planning, was supported by the Global Fund, the UGP MS and the Togolese State.
As the consultant commissioned to draft the documents, Dr Aurélien Atidegla, managing director of REID Consulting, recalled what binds them together: a strategic plan alone does not solve problems; a monitoring and evaluation plan provides the evidence of progress and of the changes brought to beneficiaries; and none of it happens without the financial resources that the third plan sets out to diversify.
